This cute girls cardigan has a beautiful structure, but is only knitted with simple knitting stitches, namely only knit and purl. This cardigan is knitted with a mixture of wool and alpaca and is great for autumn and winter. If you want a cardigan more suitable for spring and summer, knit this cardigan with a cotton blend. (The pink cardigan for size 4 years is made with wool and alpaca, the blue cardigan for size 10 years is made with a cotton blend)
Level: intermediate You must have knowledge of: o Knit and Purl stitches o Increasing and decreasing following a stitch pattern o Picking up stitches for neckband and front bands
The cardigan is completely worked flat and bottom up. At the armholes, the cardigan is divided into 3 parts: the back and the left and right front.
The sleeves are seemed and sewed in the cardigan. Then you have to pick up stitches for the neckband and later for the front bands.
