Product Details
The Snowflake Cowl is a two colour colourwork cowl made up of individual snowflake motifs. This not only makes the cowl a fun knit as each design is revealed, but it also means that you can wear the cowl to show off whichever is your favourite snowflake scene on any given day.
The pattern itself is worked in the round with moss stitch borders and a simple knit stitch colourwork section. This combined with the easy to follow instructions in both chart and written form make it perfect for those wanting to try colourwork for the first time as well as being able to keep more experienced knitters entertained.
The cowl uses DK yarn, but being a colourwork project it certainly feels cosier whilst you're working on it and indeed wearing it. You can use two colours as I have in the sample or you can use up some left over yarns for the snowflakes to create a multicoloured tableau.
It's a gorgeous pattern with so many options to make it as unique as a snowflake.
