Ahoy! Wouldn't this smiling skull and crossbones applique look great on a tote bag or skirt? Although the shaping is a bit complicated, the glittery silver applique is crocheted entirely using simple chain, single crochet, and slip stitches. The skull measures about 4 ¾” (12 cm) high x 3 ½” (9 cm) wide and the crossbones are 6” (15 cm) long x 1 ¼” (3 cm) wide. Originally published in the book, Kooky Crochet.
