Product Details
Shallow waters is a two colour shawl, long enough to wear as a scarf and just wide enough to use as a wrap. Starting with an easy lace pattern, the shawl is first worked in the main colour until you reach it's full length. With a contrasting colour, stitches are then picked up along one edge to add a wide border. Finally the thin border is added along the other edge. Both borders are finished with an I-cord bind off.
Techniques: Knitting, purling, slipping stitches, yarn over, knit 2 stitches together, knit through the back loop, picking up sts, I-cord bind off.
Gauge: 21 sts & 29 rows=4” {10cm} blocked, knitted flat in Feather & Fern pattern.
