Serenity shawl

Serenity shawl starts at the center back of the neck with a garter tab and is knit down to the bottom edge. There is a 3-stitch garter border on each side. The shawl starts with a section in stockinette stitch. This is followed by a lace pattern that flows over the entire shawl. Once the lace edging begins, there are no more increases at the center spine of the shawl.

The pattern includes written instructions and a chart for the lace pattern.

MATERIALS :

- 517 yards (472 m) fingering weight yarn. Sample shown in Malabrigo Mechita.

- 1 circular needle size 3,5 mm (US 4)

- 4 stitch markers
