Product Details
The soft pleats of this Tunisian Knit Stitch fabric create plush and stretchy insulation. It's a quick, one-skein crochet pattern written for two yarn weights: a light-to-regular worsted weight (heavy DK) version (shown in purple) requiring an L/8mm Tunisian hook, and an aran (heavy worsted) weight version (shown in heather grey) requiring an M/9mm Tunisian hook. I completed each one in 1.5 evenings each.
Skill Level: Intermediate Tunisian because some Tunisian stitches are worked into more than one row at a time. It’s recommended that you experience a beginner-level Tunisian crochet pattern before attempting this one. The only Tunisian stitch you need to know is the Tunisian Knit Stitch (Tks).
One long edge of the cowl stretches more than the other while worn, but when measured flat, the cowl looks like a simple rectangle. This increases the ways it can be worn; for example, I actually prefer the look of the grey one when worn upside down (stretchier side open at to
