Product Details
This pattern is for knitting mittens in 4 sizes to suit all ages from 2 years to adult. The mittens feature a rainbow edging. The 1st size instructions are for full mittens which have a Garter stitch motif topped off with (optional) button decoration. The remaining sizes are for fingerless mittens with a heart motif.
All the mittens are worked flat, on 2 single point needles, using basic Garter & Stocking stitches, with some finishing off required to complete.
Knitted throughout in DK yarn (or equivalent), each pair takes less than 1 ball of yarn (35g/1.3ozs for the largest size) so could make an ideal stashbuster project. I have knitted my mittens using Stylecraft Special DK acrylic yarn but most DK yarns would be suitable.

This is a very simple, straightforward pattern.It appears to be knitting up well. I've added an extra coloured stripe on the edge of the welt for more pazzazz. I'm knitting the smallest size full mitten. It looks a fair size.
