I don't care what anyone else says, Pluto will always be my favourite planet! So romantic and oh so distant. Once we only knew it as a few pixels, now we can enjoy its splendour thanks to NASA's New Horizons spacecraft.
What you will need:
PLUTO: 2 knitting needles (US3/3.25mm or as per tension advice), 10g dark grey yarn (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 460 ‘Eeyore’), two black toy safety eyes – 9mm
CHARON: 2 knitting needles (US3/3.25mm or as per tension advice), 10g medium grey yarn (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 240 ‘Stonewash’), two black safety eyes – 9mm
FOUR COMPANION MOONS: 2 knitting needles (US2/2.75mm or as per tension advice), 5-10g white yarn (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 251 ‘White’), eight black safety eyes – 6mm
ADDITIONAL MATERIALS: Polyfil toy stuffing 1 tapestry needle for finishing
