This baby blanket is thick and cozy! It is worked with a doubled strand of worsted weight yarn, in a stitch combination that looks and drapes like a knitted blanket.
The finishing touch is a "kangaroo pocket" that is perfect for tucking in a toy or two.

Pictured blanket is Cascade 220 wool in the color Pink Taffy Heather. Any worsted/aran weight yarn can be used for this project . . . other options include Plymouth Encore or Worsted Merino Superwash, Berroco Vintage, or Rowan Pure Wool.
