if like me you can see inspiration in everyday life, then you can imagine where my idea for this hat came from. After picking up a pine cone on a walk, I could see the shape and the little segment were a great pattern idea. I just had to workout the details. I'm thrilled with the result and I hope you love it too.
This is a beginner friendly pattern which looks more complicated than it really is. I've combined basic stitched to create a pattern that looks like a traditional pine cone in the brown and cream but also looks stunning in more vibrant colours.
