This is the crochet pattern for Odi the owl. With this easy pattern you can make a fuzzy little owl in a day.
Size: 4.7 inch/ 12 cm sitting when made with Istex Lett Lopi and hook E / 3,5 mm.
The instructions are written in US crochet terms. The pattern contains a list of materials, tools and accessories needed. Brand and colour numbers of the needed yarn. A clear and colour coded description of how to crochet and assemble the animal. Pictures and illustrations to help getting everything right.
Materials: For this crochet owl you’ll need worsted weight yarn and an E US/ 3.5 mm crochet hook. You’ll need three colours of yarn, murky brown (1/5 of a 100 yard skein), beige (1/5) and some orange. For the eyes I’ve used 8 mm animal eyes. Behind the eyes I’ve placed a greenish-yellow felt patch. You will also need fibrefill and pellets for a bit of extra weight in the body (I use Hama beads) and I have used pipe cleaners to shape the feet. Lopi colour numbers: 1420, 0086 & 1410 (1704).
