Nèu

Nèu is my new pattern for Christmas decoration. And like the previous ones, it's free – it's my early Christmas present to you!

Nèu is a plump yet elegant snowman (‘nèu’ means snow in Occitan), with scarf and hat.

The snowman is worked in felting aran yarn (I used DROPS Nepal with 6 mm / US# 10 needles.

After felting, it is stuffed.

Then we work him a scarf and hat in fingering yarn.

You will need:

1. 50/90/120 meters / 55/100/130 yards of aran felting yarn (pattern sample in Drops Nepal).
2. 30/40/50 meters / 35/45/55 yards of fingering yarn (for the scarf and the hat), and a bit of black thread (for the eyes).
3. Stuffing.
