Product Details
The North Woods Shawl pattern uses a modified version of the half double crochet stitch to create a subtle, yet sophisticated, texture. This is a slight asymmetrical design.
This pattern is written as a measurement guideline rather than row for row instruction. Making a gauge swatch is very important, especially if choosing a different yarn or fiber than the pattern sample. Please measure often throughout your progress, and adjusting up or down in hook size is common - the goal is to obtain gauge so the final measurements and yardage are in line with the pattern.
