Product Details
This is a listing for a knit wrap pattern that features two stitches that come to us from Japan. The focal stitch is an intricate cable lace stitch that makes quite a statement. The border stitches are also unique, but quite a bit easier to knit. Combined, they make a one of a kind shawl, quickly becoming an heirloom.
There are instructions for two sizes: A large shawl ( 25 inches x 72 inches) and a smaller shawl (20 inches x 72 inches)
Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of cable-lace knitting).
The two stitches are both charted ONLY.
Any heavy weight fingering yarn or sport weight yarn will work for this pattern.
If you don't want to do the optional edging, there is no need for crochet hooks.
