Cowl with an architectural pattern inspired by the north transept of Westminster Abbey.
This cowl is best suited for a tighter knit, which gives it more structure and enhances the design. One size fits all. The floats have a maximum of 7 stitches, but are usually 5 or less.
Consumption: Cowl: Main colour: approx. 150 m, contrasting colour: approx. 90 m. Swatch in reverse colour scheme: Contrasting colour: approx. 50 m, main colour: approx. 25 m (per piece).
Width:
for different gauges: 26, 25, 24 stitches. At the bottom approx. 33 cm / 13”, 34 cm / 13 1/2”, 35 cm / 13 3/4” at the top approx. 26 cm / 10 1/4”, 27 cm / 10 3/4”, 28 cm / 11”. The bottom ribbing is approx. 4 cm / 1 1/2” high, the colourwork section approx. 13 cm / 5”, 14 cm / 5 1/2”, 15 cm / 6”, the foldover ribbing approx. 10 cm / 4” high.
Needles: size US 2-5 / 2,75-3,75mm for the cuffs and eventually another one, a quarter / half a needle size higher, in US 3-6 / 3-4 for the colour work part.
