Here is a great way to do some stash-busting and end up with an adorable hat. This hat is crocheted with the simplest stitches, single crochet and double crochet. What makes it different and gives it a beautiful texture is the placement of the stitches. Some of them go into back loops of the previous row, some into the back bar of the stitches in the previous row, and some take a full step down, hugging a whole stitch under them, being made into the base of it. Finished dimensions: one size fits most (head circumference about 20-22 inches)
Yarn: worsted weight yarn. About 0.8 oz each apple green (C1), pink (C2), off white (C3), blue (C4) and purple (C5).
Hook: 5mm crochet hook US H8, or size needed to obtain gauge; 3.5mm crochet hook US E4.
