Marilou Hat

This pattern is one size fits all — thoroughly tested and proven when I sold many of these hats at my art market booth. The finished hat is soft, stretchy, and wonderfully warm, making it a perfect accessory for the cold season. The construction of this hat is particularly fun and unique. Instead of working from the bottom up or top down, we’ll crochet sideways — the rows create the height of the hat. To shape the crown, you’ll use short rows, which give it a smooth and natural top finish.

Finished size One size. To fit head circumference: 21¾-23½” (55-60 cm). Full length: about 13” (33 cm).
