Product Details
Sumptuous and thick (knit in the round) cowl with a simple crocheted edge which can be lengthened to become a snood or shortened for a neck warmer.
Knitted in super chunky yarn to keep you warm in arctic weather.
This was knitted in a discontinued yarn but any yarn suited to 10mm needle gauge will make a good substitute.
The example in the photo is a snug fit but you can knit this cowl as wide and long, or short, as you like.
Tools needed are needle point stoppers, stitch markers, yarn needle, yarn snips. 40cm long circular needle is ample
If you’re using a substitute yarn check the yards/meters per ball are sufficient.
For a shorter cowl to be worn as a snug and cosy neck warmer simply knit half the number of rows indicated for your chosen size.
The yarn colours reminded me of lustre beads hence the name.
This makes an extremely warm and thick, heavy knit, most suited to very cold winter weather.
