This is an easy, quick, and adventurous beginner-friendly knitting pattern to help you make a slouchy beanie just like the pictured one. The pattern comes in all the sizes from newborn to adult L/XL.
This pattern’s gauge is 21 stitches in 4in/10cm in stockinette stitch. (row gauge is not important – measurements are given instead of row count)
You will need: DK yarn (up to 60 grams for the smallest size, up to 130 grams for the largest size), needles to obtain the gauge for knitting in the round, one stitch marker, darning needle to weave in yarn ends.
The hat is knit in the round.
