This boxy top is worked from the bottom up, working the front and back separately. back and forth in Stockinette Stitch. The front has squares worked in the intarsia technique whereas the back has one color only. The hem, armholes and neckline are finished with twisted ribbing. The intarsia pattern is the most effective if the darker and lighter colors are clearly distinct from each other and form a harmonious combination in the whole color scheme. This could be a great project for your left-over yarns.
