Product Details
Lambell & Lionel Hand Puppets are knit in the round, (Intermediate Level), using Magic Loop (or double pointed needles). They are approx. 9”-10” long, 9” circumference, and one size fits most. They are created using #3-light wt. (DK wt.) yarn and size 3 (3.25mm) 32” Circular Knitting Needles (if using Magic Loop). Easy to slip on and can create lots of playtime fun!
Lambell: 160 yds. (main color), 50 yds. (contrast color), 10 yds. (tongue color) (Cygnet DK-White-208 & Cygnet DK-Flash-159)
Lionel: 120 yds. (main color), 70 yds. (contrast color), 10 yds. (tongue color) (Cygnet DK-Daffodil-145, Cygnet DK-Rust-506 & Cygnet DK-Red-1206)

LAMB This is a well written pattern with plenty of detail. I liked that it was written for knitting in the round. This I did using DPN's rather than magic loop. I made mine in cream coloured yarn just using flesh colour for the tounge and inner ear. The only draw back was the amount of time it took to create the loops on the head - but very effective when done, so worth it.
