This is the perfect pattern for a warm weather baby. It's always a struggle to find something to knit for a spring or summer baby, this is just the thing.
NOTE: The third round of the eyelet part of the cocoon should end with the YO. Otherwise the stitch count is off by two. Round 3: K2, *K2tog, yo, K2, repeat from * to last 2 stitches of round, K2tog, yo.
