Garden Arbor Shawl

This quickly knit shawl starts with a simple stocking stitch and eyelet pattern, and then transforms into an all-over lace pattern. As a whole, it resembles leaves growing up a trellis at the beginning of spring. It’s large enough to wrap around your shoulders, but small enough to wind snugly around your neck. The stitch pattern is charted.

4" = 19 sts and 33 rows in Stocking Stitch, blocked
Note: yarns shown usually knit at 20-22 sts to 4" in Stocking Stitch

440 yards worsted weight yarn
1 yard waste yarn
US 5 (3.75mm) 29" or longer circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge
US G (4mm) or larger crochet hook
