Double knitting (dk) yarn Small: about 1000 yds; Large: about 1875 yds Needles: size 6 US Gauge: 19 sts., 28 = 4” [10 cm] in pattern st.
Worsted yarn Small: about 745 yds; Large: about 1400 yds Needles: size 8 US Gauge: 16 sts., 26 rows = 4” [10 cm] in pattern st.
