Product Details
The First Impressions shawl, with its pattern of semi-circular bands, was inspired by the ripples on the pond where Monet grew his famous water lilies – which in turn inspired so many of his Impressionist paintings.
The crescent shaped shawl features garter stitch bands interspersed with stockinette stitch with a super simple lace pattern. Gentle pleats finish it off neatly.
A solid or gently variegated yarn will be shown to advantage in the cozy, pretty shawl.
A very relaxing knit, this pattern is perfect for TV knitting or social knitting.

- Pattern comes in 2 sizes. The smaller size can be completed with 100gm of fingering weight yarn. The larger size uses about 650 yds (600m) of yarn.
