Product Details
Knit our Santa Motif Hat suitable to fit a child from 1 to 11 years old.
Design
The hat is knitted flat on straight needles and has a Santa Claus motif. The motif is knitted following a chart and using the intarsia method. The white bobble on the end of Santa’s hat is knitted up and sewn on separately. You will need to sew the back seam and add a pompom to the top.
Sizes
The pattern includes 6 sizes to fit: 1-2 yrs, 2-3 yrs, 4-5 yrs, 6-7 yrs, 8-9 yrs and 10-11 years old.
Yarn
The pattern uses double knitting wool (an alternative yarn for overseas knitters would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply).
The picture shows the outfit knitted using Stylecraft Special DK in shades: Green (1116), White (1001), Red (Lipstick 1246), Mushroom (1832) and Black (1002)
