Product Details
These socks are reminiscent of Scottish Fair Isle socks and are worked in the round with a minimum of two colors, or as many as six! As is the tradition, Fair Isle garments are never worked with more than two colors in a round and these socks are no exception! The heel flap is worked in corrugated ribbing while the patterning for the rest of the sock is comprised of three-row peerie patterns-- traditional Scottish Fair Isle motifs which are typically 1 to 7 rows high. The pattern includes five sizes.
Featured Techniques are: The Double Cast-On, Working with a Color in Each Hand, Corrugated Ribbing Heel Pattern, The Dutch Heel, The Wide Toe, Kitchener Stitch.
