Ebba's Cables

My grandma Ebba was a world class knitter and amazing woman. She lived in Northern Minnesota and my days were spent getting lost on the north shore of Lake Superior. You would need a jacket most days on the shore since it is a bit chilly with the wind off the lake. This jacket is my twist on a sweater she knit that has lasted in our family for over 70 years. It is comfy and cozy with a bit of a modern spin. It is knit cuff to cuff (with a cute little thumb hole) in one piece. The jacket is knit in the reverse stockinette to show off the beauty of the “wrong side”. The large neckline can be worn in several ways to suit your fancy. It is designed for the sleeves to be snug and loose everywhere else so that you can snuggle up in this jacket!
