The blanket features a garter stitch border to the edge with a central chick and egg placement with spring flowers.

Row by row written instructions, using only knit and purl stitches, it is the ideal project for new knitters and a relaxing knit for those more experienced.

When knitting the smallest size you will need approximately 180gm of wool- based on using 4mm needles, baby DK yarn and will measure 25 x 25" when completed. If you are knitting this blanket bigger please take into consideration how much extra yarn you will require.

Tension Stocking Stitch: 22 sts = 10cms/4 inches. 28 rows = 10cms/ 4 inches.
