You can use any yarn you like.
With lighter yarn the figure will be smaller, with heavier yarn it will be bigger. Safety-eye size and cord length need to be adjusted then though.

Very detailed easy to follow instructions with photographs. I particularly liked that pieces were crocheted in as you go along rather than having to be joined together at the end as making up is always my least favourite part of projects. The completed bunny was an Easter gift and was very well received.
