Product Details
The actual pattern "crossed reflections" is the body of the hat and is straight forward crossed stitches (rounds 7 to 13).
I have written two versions for the "crown" (rounds 1 to 6). Version one, the easy version. Version two, a bit more challenging working with crossed dc in the round requiring concentration and continuous counting (for me at least).
For a slouchy version repeat the pattern (rounds 7 to 13) before doing the brim.
To work on the diameter and know where to stop increasing calculate as such:
Head circumference divided by pi (3.1415) Example 21" / 3.1415 = 6.68"
Crossed reflections inspired when I was at the beach. The waves are smaller and then get bigger (dc, hdc, sc) and the reflection of the sea. I like the crossed stitches rather than the chevron for waves.
