Product Details
Who doesn’t need a little crab(by) in their life?! Crandall was one of my first designs and he’s delighted to finally meet all of you!
This pattern is designed to use any weight yarn - from lace to bulky weight. Since you only need 14-24 yards, this makes a great project to use up those little bits of leftover yarn. And since he takes less than an hour to make, you’ll find it easy to make another … and another…
You will need a hook one size smaller than the recommended yarn weight (e.g. worsted weight - use a US G/4.0mm). Also, to make the legs, you will either need to use a yarn that you can un-ply into 1/2 or 1/3 the size, or find a smaller weight yarn.
The eyes can be safety eyes (size recommendations included in the pattern), or use a small bit of black yarn to make French knots.
I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as I do!
