This pattern came about after we (my husband and I) suffered a devastating house fire and we had lost everything apart from a few clothes and our dogs. So crochet was the last thing on my mind as you can imagine, but as we were wandering around a store one day I saw this yarn and picked it up for no reason and with no project in mind - got home and the cosy cable scarf was born!!!
It took 2 100g balls of dk yarn to make a scarf of 198cm in length plus the fringe - the pattern is so easy as it is a 4 row repeat throughout and you can make the scarf as long or as short as you wish.
As it was my saviour - my way to get my crojo back - it is my gift to all of you. I hope you have fun with it and enjoy making it as much as I did.
