Make this Chunky Cabled Waves Hat! This hat uses cables pattern with a ribbed band. The cables kind of make a V across which looks like swaying waves of water. This warm, wavy and textured crocheted hat is perfect to beat the cold in the winter months.
This hat uses the diagonal ribbed stitch pattern to form cables. So you will be learning a new technique to create this cool hat.
Suggested Yarn: You will need about 3.5 oz(160-170 yards) of Bulky / 12 ply (7 WPI) yarn in 1 yarn color.
I used: Lion Brand Jiffy Solid (100% Acrylic; 135 yards[123 m]/3 oz [85 gm]; CYCA #5): #195 Dusty Pink, 2 skeins.
Crochet Hook Sizes: 6.5 mm/ US K or size needed to obtain gauge. 7 mm or size needed to obtain gauge.
Finished Size: Circumference – 22 inches, Height – 9.5 inches
