This pattern is for a 3-inch tall little pullover sweater to be used as a Christmas tree ornament. It also can make a good decoration for a Christmas present. I got started making these because I had some leftover sock yarn. Now I've made over 200. It's addictive. You can use any fingering weight yarn, but my favorite is a merino/nylon blend which seems to have a tighter spin than the 100% wool yarn and works up smooth and tidy. The little sweater hangs on the tree on its own little clothes hanger (easy to make) - directions included.
