The size chart provides exact measurements for Melissa Bebé yarn or similar, where the width of each wedge is 5 cm (unstretched). However, since the hat is crocheted sideways and is composed of identical wedges, you can use any type of yarn, adjusting the initial height of the hat. Thanks to the elasticity of the main stitch, the hat easily conforms to the head’s contour.
