Product Details
This top-down, triangular shawl uses cables with elongated stitches to show off the different colors in a highly variegated skein of hand-dyed yarn. Short rows in the final garter section give a bit more wingspan.
Skills required Increasing Cables Short rows
Materials 800 yards of fingering-weight yarn – 625 of the main color and 175 of the contrasting color. Stitch marker Cable needle (optional). Because you are crossing elongated stitches, you will need to use a larger cable needle than you normally would for fingering-weight yarn Tapestry needle for weaving in ends Blocking supplies
*Sample was knit in Fleece Artist Merino Slim in the Forillon National Park Colorway and Malabrigo Mechita in Natural *
