Product Details
Bruges lace is a modern crochet technique inspired by the traditional bobbin lace originated in the city of Bruges, Belgium in the 16th century. It’s created by rows of stitches that are turned back and forth to form a tape with arches along the sides; these arches link sections together, creating charming patterns that recreate traditional Bruges lace. This skirt is constructed using panels that are joined together as you go without sewing (with the exception of a few small details in Bruges lace). Boasting timeless Pineapple Lace, the flared hem is sure to draw attention. You can wear your finished skirt with a detachable liner, or even use it as a cute strapless top. The pattern is written row-by-row using American crochet terms, including crochet diagrams, special stitches, step-by-step photos and a conversion chart to UK terms.
