This fun summer top features a brookstick lace in the round yoke and an easy to stitch Wattle Stitch bodice, also crocheted in the round.
Skill Level: Intermediate
Yarn: Knits 'N Purls Nacre Wooly Wonder (DK weight, 50% Merino Eco Wool, 50% Organic Hemp, 240m/262 yds, 100g) For Large size I used 1 each of Aqua & Grey, and 2 of the Gold colors. Feel free to substitute your favorite DK weight yarn. The yarn store can be reached for orders here: (240) 477-4238.
Hooks: H (or 8/5.00 mm) or size needed for gauge, and G (or 6/4.00 mm), size 50 (25.0 mm) circular knitting needles with 39" cable. I found my on Amazon.
Notions: Yarn needle, scissors, 4 stitch markers
Finished Dimensions:
Bust: 44" (46", 49", 53", 55", 58") Note: This is a loose fitting top. Length can be adjusted to preference.
Gauge: Using larger crochet hook and Wattle Stitches, 13 Wat Sts = 8", 13 rows = 4".
