Product Details

Come learn the joy of a very old stitch technique crocheted in a new way! This beautiful cape is made using an in the round style of the Broomstick Lace Stitch and single crochets. I dare say that it is an achievable stitch even for confident beginners willing to give it a try. The addition of bead will add a slight sparkle to help this design to really shine!

Skill Level: Intermediate

Yarn: 2 hanks of the Yarn Smith's fingering weight yarn (75% superwash Merino wool, 25% nylon, 463 yds) in the color, "Not Glinda".

Hooks: Size G (or 6/4.00 mm), size 50 (25.0 mm) circular knitting needles with 39" cable.

Notions: Yarn needle, beading needle, 476 size 6/0 beads, scissors, 1 stitch marker (optional).

Finished Dimensions: (One Size Fits Most) Neck Opening = 33" around, 15" in length.

Gauge: in sc, 24 sts = 4", 8 rows = 1"
