Bright and Bold Rainbow Blanket is perfect for babies and toddlers to enjoy cosying up in. The stitch used for the main body of the blanket creates the perfect amount of ‘squish’ and the bobbled edge offers a soothing texture for little fingers to touch. The bright rainbow colours bring joy and cheer to every day.
The blanket is suitable for competent beginners. Directions for blanket and bobble stitch are given in the pattern.
The finished blanket measures 74 x 62cm, excluding the bobbles. This is a good size for a pram blanket, or lap blanket. The pattern includes directions for altering the size of the blanket.
Cascade 220 is the recommended yarn for this blanket. Seven balls in total are required, although you will have some of each ball leftover. You can use any yarn for the blanket. A heavier-weight yarn will result in a larger blanket and a lighter-weight yarn will result in a smaller blanket.
