Product Details
BAO BAO *(*เบา เบา is a Thai expression that is used for something gentle, soft and light) is a symmetrical triangular shawl.
The shawl is worked back and forth from the top down and features the beautiful and fun stitch pattern I used for the HEIMATHAFEN pullover.
Using the dip stitch stripe pattern “all over” creates this super cute retro look. Starting with a garter tab cast on, stitches are
increased every RS row at both edges and at the center of the shawl. Color changes are worked every 4 rows. The cute and easy dip stitch pattern
could be worked with many colors for a playful result (and to help stash busting ;) or with 3 colors (as shown) for a more sophisticated and sportive
look.
Gauge: 20 sts x 36 rows = 4” (10 cm) square in dip stitch stripe pattern after blocking.
Original yarn: Le Woolle NOCCIOLE [197 yds (180m) /50g]; shown in colors BRINA (C1), ZUCCA (C2) and NOTTE (C3) – 2 balls each in C1 and C2, 1 ball in C3
