I started knitting as a child. Once there was no space left in the wardrobes for any more thick jumpers, I started knitting socks and gloves. I particularly like the gloves: Once you get to the fingers there are so few stitches, that even with the thin needles another finger is finished in what seems no time at all - giving you a constant sense of achievement! So when I decided to design patterns, gloves were to become my specialism - with some other accessories thrown in, to keep things interesting.
