I was looking for a bulky variegated wool to crochet - and this was the very answer. I ordered 3 different bright colour ways, one colour 644 was mildly ‘prettier’ than I expected, and another colour 638 was perhaps slightly darker. Used them anyway and am delighted with the result. A lovely wool to use, reduced by Love Crafts, so win win!
Great yarn! I make hats for the homeless and this works up beautifully! I am sure this yarn will help keep those folks warm. I really like yarns that will make a hat with one skein!
This yarn is perfect!!! I am making a mosaic Tunisian blanket with it using a variegated color and a solid for contrast. The yarn is warm but very airy and light. Its texture is wonderful to work with. Later I will try felting a bag or backpack. I highly recommend this yarn for warmth and beauty. One last note: The company is reliable and my yarn got to me in perfect condition.
I am a needle felter and embroidery and this bulky loosely spun yarn is perfect to add pops of colour to my work. It is also a very good price.
I'm enjoying using the Viking Naturegarn 100% wool. It crochets well! I've made a beautiful stuffed bear, and I ordered some more yarn to make booties and some hats. I love working with good quality wool yarn and knowing that the babies who receive my gifts will feel warm and cozy with them...

I have bought this brand before and it is absolutely gorgeous. Being an amateur knitter who is an expert at squares and rectangles, this wool is fabulously chunky without being a bit of a handful. Love it!

I’m very disappointed in the way this yarn is marketed. It is not super chunky by any means, and even doubling the strands did not work out for the pattern I used. I have wasted almost $50 buying yarn from Lovecrafts.
