Yarn : 450 yds / 412 m DK weight / 8-ply yarn that achieves gauge. Sample knit in Madelinetosh Twist DK, Dirty Panther.
Needle Size : US size 8 / 5 mm long circular needle for holding a large number of sts. Notions : Tapestry needle, 1 stitch marker, safety pin or removable marker
Gauge : 16 sts = 4" / 10cm in Garter Stitch after wet blocking (gauge is not overly important; however, it will alter yardage and finished measurements).
