Product Details
Mokita means "the truth that everybody knows but no one talks about". The truth in question is mental illness. I designed this shawl to fight the stigma and raise funds for mental health charity Mind – every cent of the sale price will be donated.
Wrap yourself in the comfort of a soft silk and mohair shawl. This one’s highly adaptable, with options for laceweight or aran yarns (or try anything in between!), and a choice of garter stitch or crochet borders – perhaps in a contrast yarn? Add beads to up the glamour factor (tutorial included), or try a smooth silk yarn on the border for extra definition.
The aran version uses three skeins of the recommended yarn, plus a contrast yarn for the crochet border, and measures 72 x 30 inches.
The lace-weight version uses four balls and measures 65 x 23 inches.
