    About

Nervously starting a new project with some gorgeous Rowan Big Wool in 'Prize', which is a lovely dusky pinky lilac colour. The wool feels soft and should knit up quick being Super Chunky and the free pattern is easy to follow. Used cable cast on, learnt from one of the Lovecrafts tutorials.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 10.00mm (US 15) 25cm

    Accessories

    • Toggles
Other : 5cm walnut coloured wood toggle

Notes: The toggle scarf pictured (not the cowl) relates to an older version of this pattern and is 15cm x 150cm long, not 15cm x 225cm long.
The instructions on how to make the toggle strip are missing from the new pattern: using 10mm needles, cast on 23 stitches and then cast off these stitches; form toggle strip into a loop shape and sew to one end of the scarf as per the picture and sew the toggle to the other end of the scarf.

Looking good so far, your cast on is lovely and neat. That is a nice pattern to keep an eye on
as you knit away. I love the colour you have chosen.
