    About

    Tracy at work wanted a blanket for her first baby to use in her space saver cot. She remembered I crocheted so asked for a blanket. I sent her across a few images of different styles and she liked the simpler look, but had the idea of using a few different colours. She is having a boy so wanted a little bit of blue but didn't necessarily want the traditional blue/white combo. We went for a colour pack with 2 x grey, 1 x yellow and 2 x blue yarns.
    Because of the size that Tracy wanted the blanket, I went a little against the pattern in terms of the original colour layout and number of square required. I went for a 5 x 7 square design, so each colour was used for 7 squares and then joined in a random-ish design.
