    About

I have a knitting bucket list, and now I can cross double knitting off the list. If you like scarves that are delicate and drape gracefully, then don't make this. It is thick and squishy and warm. I found it to be very slow going. Maybe there is a dexterous technique for doing double knitting quickly, but I never figured it out. It's a good pattern with clear instructions and I was very pleased with the result. It is reversible and lays completely flat and has tidy edges. The pattern includes instructions for a hat. I made the hat and then decided that I don't like corrugated ribbing for a hat. It is not stretchy and curls. So I made a different hat altogether that is also thick and warm. (I used the hat formula in Strange Brew.)

Thank you, It was a challenge especially the first 12 inches or so until I realized to not work on it when I was tired. I thought I would wear the yarn out with so much rework.

Thank you, Jacquie. Here is a link to a youtube video showing exactly what I was unable to master. Neither my brain nor my fingers are this nimble. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0F0Z3A1yL0. The quality of the video is not that good, but this lady and her technique are awesome.
