    About

What is the problem for us, who knit, to make a mane for a horse, a unicorn and other similar knitted toys? With a supply of yarn and a crochet hook, no problem! Strands of the right size are easily crocheted to a knitted fabric.
But this is not the only method. There is a great knitting pattern! How did I do it?
I'll show you the example of a little pony.
Cast on 41 stitches using black yarn.
    1-2: s/s
    3: *k1, yarn over, k2, k3tog, k2, yarn over* 5 times, k1
4: PR (yarn over knit back st) Repeat rows 3 and 4, knit until we get 3 cm. Bind off the sts., yarn is not cut. Take the hook and make a loop.
    5: 23 сh
6: 4tr (treble crochet) in one loop.
7: 19 sc 8: Secure with a slip stitch at the base of the mane. Cut the thread, pull up the loop and hide in the edge. Sew the mane to the head, as in the photo.
It turned out great, in my opinion!
